My xbox doesnt read the disks i put disks in it reads for a few secs and just says open tray...then sometimes it will play games with no problems...please help me
Common xbox flaw mine does the same ,just keep opening and closeing the tray till it reads the disk,this can be very annoying .your dvd tray is probally on the way out

just keeps saying open tray over and over im goin to send it back to microsoft and make the upgrade it so this doesnt happen again
Mine does the same and have to open and close it about 10 times till it works.Worst thing is, it started doing this at about 2 weeks from when I bought it and supposedly it's the new 360 that don't heat up as much.

yeah, just hit it lightly with your fist on top of the drive, usually works for me
My xbox says open tray when there is a "perfectly fine" disc in it
i put the game in and it reads it. then says open tray ike nothings in there.

I just got resident evil 5 and then i put it in and then it said open trey at my home page i tested other games it did the same thing now my dad is mad because he cant play bad company i did so many things to try and fix it any solutions any one has put it on this site
