The display panel for the oven control of our Dacor Model RSD308 Duel Fuel Range suddenly stopped displaying correctly. The display panel shows parts of numbers and letters so you cn't read temperatures or other information. Twice in the past we have had an appliance company replace the DA 62692 Oven Control Board. Once the display board stops showing the numbers and functions, you have to replace it. You could try and turn the breaker off to it. Sometimes this will reset the main board unit.

I don't see the make and model number of your unit. I only see part of your post. Please post the make and model number. It should be a simple fix. From what I do see in your post, it sounds like the control board will need to be replaced. Regards,Richard
I had the same problem as devlin50 with my GE duel fuel 918 model. If you trip the circuit breaker off and leave for one minute before switching the power back on then hopefully the panel will be flashing, worked for me. Worth trying as replacement panel is not cheap, about $220 here in Canada.
Once you replace the oven control again....never use self clean on any oven....unless you want to replace parts.
Before you replace the control...look inside the control panel for a resettable thermal fuse.
