How to remove BIOS password

If you have the current password, use it to access the bios password screen in your BIOS menu and leave the new password blank.
Assuming you don't have the BIOS password, there is generally a white jumper connecting two pins on the system board. With this removed, the BIOS password will not lock out changes to the BIOS. This is especially useful if you've purchased a used system that the previous owner locked out.

How to Boot From A Windows 7 Password Reset Disk?

<span>Forgot Windows 7 password? It seems to be a universal iusse as widespread of Windows 7. But no matter which method you choose, you have to boot your locked computer from the password recovery disk. However, you will feel frustrated when you have little computer skill. Take these 2 methods as your reference when you encounter the similar problem.<br />Of course, firstly , you need to create a<span> </span><a href="http://www.passwordunlocker.com/knowledge/create-win-7-password-reset-disk.html">Windows 7 password reset disk</a>, and then pay attention on how to boot from the Windows password reset disk .<br /> Method OneInsert a burned Windows 7 password recovery CD in your locked computer boot the locked computer from the CD/DVD as follows:<br /> <ul> <li>1. Turn on or restart the locked computer, watch the screen for a message like "Press to http://www.passwordunlocker.enter SETUP "or something similar. LG bios password locked

BIOS passwords can be reset in two ways:

1. using software 2. using hardware.

I would first try resetting using software, here are two software apps to reset or retrieve BIOS passwords.

!BIOS - is a PC BIOS toolkit offering password removal/decrypt and BIOS settings modification/backup/restore.
You can download it here:

CmosPwd - Cmos password recovery tools

Its locked and needs a code

Is it locked it in BIOS or in Windows? If it's locked in BIOS, you will need to open up the laptop and locate the jumper and remove the CR2032 battery from the motherboard.

If it's locked in Windows, you would need to re-install Windows again to reset the password.

But if it's locked because of the product key code, then you will need to call up Microsoft automated telephone line. Just have the internet access ready.

Phoenix bios password

The thing is that somebody set bios password. On phoenix bios based on intel platform? like yours normally if you will enter bios password incorrectly 3 times bios will lock the computer and it will generate 12 digit lock code. You will need to contact Toshiba technical support to get bios unlock password. (Normally this is generated by them within couple of hours.)
I would recommend you to check with toshiba support before locking bios (entering password incorrectly 3 times)

I set the power on password on my ibm 600e and now cant turn it off. How do I do that

go to www.ibm.com go to support page, download the service manual of your model first, it will show you how to reset your bios password or remove your bios passord, usually remove the bios password, it is your CMOS battery (look like a calculator battery) unplug it, and put it back on again, your bios password should disappear. make sure remove the battery first.
