the belt shape new will not effect replacing it. It does not stretch but slides on. Did you loosen screw?

Are you talking about the hood, you place onto and inside, you can make one from plywood and screw on a 100 mm dia PVC drain pipe connector and jubilee clip.for the hose.
If the saw is overloaded when cutting, it will be in 'start' mode which causes current draw through the capacitor. Capacitors are meant to do so only when starting. You may need to use a heavier gauge extension cord so that the saw has full power. Hope this helps!
Hi I have the same problem - I think it may be the capacitor by the motor which has failed - I have just ordered a spare which I hope will fix the problem. Check the capacitor for any signs of damage ie. explosion!!
