The device installs to any computer, acts completely normal but when you plug in a network cable it will not print, doesn't show any error messages just will not print. I have updated to the latest Firmware I can find which is 20080908. I am so stuck, hopefully someone can fix this.

1. Plug the 2.0 Usb to the computer but not to the printer. 2. When the setup program ask you to plug the device, do it. (the part into the printer, which is not connected according to 1.) - nothing happens- 3. Go to your control panel; printers and devices; find the printer and select controller, properties, update controller, browse and give it the location of the installing program. This must not be zipped.4. then the original installation program will tell you that the process is complete.

I'm using a HP LASERJET M1120 MFP. But every time I turn on the machine the screen says "Scanner Error 20". How to fix it up? Thanks!

The printer received more data than can fit in available memory.

You might have tried to transfer too many macros, soft fonts, or complex graphics. Press GO to print the transferred data (some data might be lost). Try to simplify the print job or install additional memory.

Cable may not be connected correctly, try reconnecting the scanner cable. Or the scanning software is corrupted. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Did your scanner ever work?
