Replace the magenta drum unit

This is a fuser unit error, if powering off & on the machine the error doesn't clear then you will need to have the fuser unit replaced.

Follow the instructions to align the colours try automatic align first, if no improvement select manual alignment.

Check main controller for dust build up. if so remove all sub boards and carefully remove any dust from all boards and its connecting areas, clean all contacts. try not to create much static round the boards. re-seat all boards (remember where they go), test.

E602 is a faulty hard drive located in the same area, this may need replacing and loading firmware onto it. - requires technician to load new firmware

i looked to see if there was a user fix for this problem but there isn't. It sounds like the driver pcb board could be blown and or the fixing assembly needs replace.

OK, but first try to clear the error under service mode, then replace fixing film assy, for EU 240V is FG6-6041.
To clear the error:
* 2 8 *
COPIER
FUNCTION
CLEAR
ERR
OK
Turn off and on ( main switch )

If this dont help - replace fixing film assy.

run auto gradation adust in add. func. on heavy paper then check each colour ! at a time it iis possible ! of the new drums has failed. good luck

When this machine was started after connecting the Color Image Reader-E1/F1, the screen for the shutdown sequence appeared (and E732-9999 was recorded as an error history in service mode). When the main power switch was turned OFF/ON by following the instruction on the screen, the error code "E732-8888" was displayed. When connecting the Color Image Reader-E1/F1, follow the field remedy below.
- E732-9999 is recorded when a printer model detects a scanner for the first time. (This is not an error code but an alert.)
- E732-8888 can be displayed when a different scanner is connected to this machine.

Probably the copier is iR C5185i
- E004 = Fixing unit protection circuit trouble
-  0401 = Check the connection of the connectors of the relay PCB, the IH power supply, the fixing thermoswitch, and replace the fixing unit (fixing
thermoswitch OFF), the relay PCB, and the IH power PCB (blowout of the
FU261).
In the service mode, clear the error by selecting COPIER > FUNCTION >
CLEAR > ERR.
You need a canon technician to resolve this problem.
