The first thing id look at is the fuse you have to open this up to look at this.Look inside the fuse and see if theres a rod like thing going from end to end.If there isnt thats your problem or if you see a fog kinda thing in there or if the walls of the fuse is black like a burn would represent. Most likely this is your problem but it could be more further of a problem than i anticipate.

I have a Yamaha Tach/Hour Meter 1/10. I cannot turn it off. Boat batteries are disconnected and I have disconnected the tach/hour meter. It keeps flashing

From what I have gathered on the internet, it doesn't turn off. When running it displays RPM, when engine off, displays run time. Estimate for the internal battery was 10 years, but I wouldn't bet on it. This is a sealed unit and priced low enough that after a few years it is a throw away. Liquid Crystal displays use very little power, micro micro amps, and it is possible that it is designed to charge itself when the engine is running off the pulses from the plug wire, micro amps at a time. All that said, I don't think you have a problem, just need to read the instructions and see if they say anything different, I couldn't find them online so hope you have them.

Message "Engine Component Requires Sevice" comes on intermittently but gives no code.

Having a car serviced, is called preventative maintenance,
oil,spark plugs,gas filter,brakes & the like

That has nothing to do with diagnosing your concerns

Checked out, is just that. Someone that doesn't know how to
diagnose your cars problems

You need to have the problem you are concerned about, actually
looked into.
That could be time consuming & costly & may even work out
better for you at a dealership
I would prefer you start with a repair shop as it is cheaper

Bottom line is that no one actually put the effort into finding the cause

A repair shop either doesn't have a data base to learn about your
car or the skills to do the job

They are not going to spend time on something, when they
can not bill you for a lot of hours, you simply won't spend the money,
so they don't fix it

93' toyota camry takes to long to warm up in the

Sounds like a dead spark plug or faulty wire, or even out of time. Start with changing plugs. No change, do the wires. No change check the timing belt. It may have jumped a cog. As for the slow to warm up part, the misfire won't help that problem, but you may need to change the thermostat if it doesn't improve once you get it running on all cylinders.

I have a yamaha EF2400IS generator that starts fine, but when i shut it down and try to restart it hot it will not start up again until it cools down. Please help.

If it doesn't start but turns over ok. It may be a problem with the magneto / wiring or spark plugs. It seems as though this unit has no automatic shut down. I would try replacing the spark plugs BPR4ES NGK or equivalent and gap to .030, oil 5/30 or 10/30 will do takes less than 1 quart, & air filter (basic tune-up) if not performed in some time. Yamaha recommends every 20 hours. Then try again. Here is a link to the owner's manual. http://www.poweredgenerators.com/yamaha/manuals/ef2400is.pdf

G'day. Sounds very much like you have blockages in the carburettors- probably the main jets & emulsion tubes.
You will need to remove the carburettors, diss-assemble them & thoroughly clean them.
I thought that this link may help if you want to do it yourself.
It will show exploded diagrams of them.
http://www.mrcycles.com/fiche_section_detail.asp?section=281601&category=motorcycles&make=YAMAHA&year=2002&fveh=6827

Particular attention to parts-8,9,10,11,& 12.
I feel sure you'll find part 11(main nozzle) will have blockages in the pin size holes in the side of it.
These are critical for proper fuel atomization. They commonly get blocked by a goup that forms in the carbies when fuel has been left in them for a long time.
I jope this has been of some help

Yamaha nx sw300

Ditto, i've got all 5 speakers without the Subwoofer. The subwoofer hasn't worked from day one, but I delayed replacing the unit for too long and don't have the warranty, I looked at all soldered connections and none of them have come un-soldered and all connectors are properly connected, can't think of anything but broken component that would cause it from here, nor can I think of a quick fix
