My phone's(nokia n72) instlled memory keep on decreasing automatically i use the memory of memory card but still it happens. now the installed memory is reduced upto 20kb nd i can't even open my contacts,please hlp

Just remove the memory card from your mobile, connect to a desktop pc using a card reader. Before connecting ensure that your desktop PC is installed with a good antivirus software with latest updates. Then scan your memory card for virus and remove all the virus from it. If the data present in the card is not needed then it is recommended to go for formatting the card.

Reset you phone settings with the Sim Card to Full Factory Restore using 12345 or *#7370# or *#7780#. Remember the later two will reset all the your settings as well as your phone memory. Good luck..

just install nokia pc suite in your pc and then choose the option to backup, then all ur messages will be saved

open the folder, mark the messages, set destionation as phone memory, then copy them

Please install a proper mobile antivirus (kaspersky is recommended) scan ur phone and memory card........ If the problem still persists please check whether ur memory card is branded or not..... If not, please change memory card(Recommended SanDisk or Kingston)...

There are a couple of options with your phone.
But it sounds like it's possibly having some issues with the software.
I would make sure your software is updated to the newest version
Then I believe your phone has 20MB built in and comes with a 128MB card.
You can upgrade your memory card to something bigger like 1 GB.
Just make sure you get the right card RS-DV-MMC
with those 2 things you will have a much better experience with your phone.

if ur cell is displaying the memory full warning, it means ur phone memory is full, try to reduce some software frm the phone memory, and always install the softwares on ur memory card whenever it ask to install the path, while installing a software.


if the problem is still there, of memory full after emptying ur phone memory, then soft format ur cell, by pressing *#7370# and then the security code(12345 by default)

bt before that backup all ur important datasuch as contacts and mesages of the phone memory, as then soft format reset all the settings and flash all the phone memory.

plug the data cable with your computer and restart your computer. the operating system will automatically detect and will configure the necessary setting. if that did not happen then you have not bought the right cable. check the phones manual for the correct specification
