My Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000 doesn't work on picture snapshots

Hello i have a microsoft lifeam vx-1000
i used to live in belgium and i bought it there...

i brought the lifecam WITH me to korea which i am living now
and it DID work for a while but i couldn't find any files or icons of taking pictures or videos or recording...
it DID work before but...i don't know whats goin on

by the way...it DOES work on messenger but not on separate programs... please help me T^T
