When I put the key in the ignition it won't start. It just says pass key fault. I had the key checked by the dealership, and the key is good. How do I fix this? Or what needs to be replaced? Thanks.
WELL I HAD THE SAME PROB. ON A 95 CHEVY CAPRICE.I REMOVED THE IGNITION AND THE WIRE WAS BROKE.WHEN U TURN THE KEY THE PASS KEY WIRE TURNS WITH THE IGNITION,WHAT A FAULTY DESIGN.ANY HOW BUY A NEW IGNITION AND KEY THAT SHOULD SOLVE THE PROB. GOOD LUCK

im having the same problem with my 94 caprice
When i was driving down the road I smelled a bad oder coming from the hood and it was coming from the hood from the passenger in a black box above the wheel wail.I kept driving and the Pass key fault light came on and bout 5min after driving it it shut down on me with no lights at all then power came back on and i started the car back on so please help me Thanks
I have the same problem with my '96 impala. The care was sitting for a month without being started... my battery is now dead, and when I tried to jump the car the pass key light just stays on, the car doesn't even try turning over. No nothing.
