Getting soap to come out on john deere pressure washer

  • johnnyashby Mar 09, 2009

I have a new John Deere Pressure washer also only used one time last fall. I cleaned it as directions and put up in my garage. I got it out yesterday to use and I could not get the soap to despinse. I had the filter all the way down into the cleaner and was using the black low pressure tip. I tried adjusting the pressure and got the manual out but It really did not give any solution to getting the solution flowing.

The cleaning solution pickup will only work with the wand in the low pressure setting. Try pulling out on the end of the spray head.

using a small fininishing nail put some pressusre down the hole of the soap intake "spout" and push down the "ball" that floats up when the high pressure nozzle is used. By pressing it back down the intake jet will work fine until you use the high pressure nozzle again. then just repeat the cycle. choyt in Mobile AL

Mower belt keeps coming off put on NEW John Deere belt same thing happens

Rub a bar of bath soap on the sides of the belt, this will help keep it in the groove of the pulley until the belt gets adjusted to where it is running.

John deere 3800psi pressure washer will not siphon detergent. the water end does fine but cannot get any soap

The only way the washer will draw soap into the line is with either the black tip installed or with no tip in wand at all. There is a ball and spring inside of the pipe that the siphon hose hooks to so when you use the washer with alot or even a little pressure the ball is forced up and blockes off the soap inlet port.So if you use it with no tip in the inlet port is open cause the ball isnt being forced up by back pressure.I hope this makes sense.

I have a John Deere AC2600Gh power washer and I can't get the soap to work everything else works great it just won't **** the soap up when I am pressure washing I know that it must be something simple to...

Soap will only siphon into hose if there isnt any pressure in the hose attached to the wand.Remove tip from wand and see if it draws soap into hose, back pressure in wand hose will cause the spring and ball to seat/close off the inlet line for the soap otherwise water would blow out of soap line.

My john deer 3800 psi gas pressure washer

I would suggest taking it back if its brand new, even if you lost the receipt most stores can look up the sale to verify that its with the time frame for return.

John Deere will replace the cap for free; they acknowledge the vendor who supplied Briggs & Stratton gas caps provided faulty caps. Call 1-888-228-3068 then 1 (English), 2, 1 and a technician will ask you for model number and Serial Number (which they need to replace the cap). Don't drill a hole in your cap: debris will find a way into the gas tank and end up possibly fouling the engine. Bob from NJ

Water comes through nozzle, but no pressure. it is a john deere, with a honda engine.

The engine doesnt matter. Most pumps are DeVille Bliss. Get the model off the pump and go to their website for trouble shooting information.
