Actually technician said the problem is that the mechanism is unsynchronized I he is no able to put it syncronized so the sistem is able to reporduce the CDs at this point Im not sure if he mess up it or something else is wrong cause I believed that any part is broken but he claim its the hole mechanism that what we need to replace

do you think that the mechanisim is handle by a integrated circuit due that at this point no part is broken ! it just stops and got stock in some point while the mecanism is trying to go to the next disc or in the process to change disc !!

at this very moment I dont know cause I will have to check with technician if he has service manual ! on the other hand do you have an idea where can I find the chip that controls the mechanism ??!!! cause I have confirm that there are no parts broken on the mechanism with the technician !

CD Mechanism has more then 100 parts so how many parts you will buy? Complete mechanism is not available.
Look at below image, its 5th page of CD mechanism and 4 pages are more like that.

Of course mechanism is handled by system control chip and if mechanism is misaligned or has not right timing, will give problem.

do you or he have related service manual to fix it?

  • Anonymous Feb 25, 2009

It is premature to change control chip before testing it either is good or bad.
As I said, if CD mechanism timing is misaligned, funtion will not be OK. Technician has to check timing of CD mechanism according to service manual and then test control chip too.
