Only printing 1/2 a label

I have a Zebra 110 XiIII plus 600 dpi. I'm trying to print a 3 X 1 label, but only 0.5" of the label is printing. The printer seems to think that is the size of the label too because it is not sensing the gap. How do I fix this?

Recalibrate the printer in the set up.
Don't just do a quick cal from the front panel.
Make sure your driver is the correct dpi zebra driver, either zebra or my preferred seagull scientific.
by .5 of the label, do you mean width or heigth.
If it is heigth, check to make sure you are set for top of print correctly. Also you will have to back feed for a label that short.

Zebra 105sl printer labels print too small

There are 3 different DPI Printheads for Zebra printers if you print a label set up for a 200 DPI Printhead on a printer with a 300 DPI Printhead installed it will be about 66% of the size.

I am having trouble in printing.. I send the label to my Zebra 170XiIII plus and it out of specs... any help please??

Make sure you are using the correct driver 170xiIII plus, and make sure the dpi of the driver matches the print head resolution.203 or 300dpi.

Can we make 300 dpi Zebra 105 SL printer to print on label expecting 203 DPI, Any configuration setting?

Krishan, sorry there are no settings that will allow you to do this on the 105SL. If the printer code expecting a 203 DPI printhead and you have a 300 DPI Printer then your label will print out much smaller then normal.

If you are printing labels with a label printing package (such as Seagull Bartender for Windows) then all you need to do is to install the proper printer driver. If you have your printer attached to a system that is sending "straight" ZPL (Zebra Printing Language Code) then your out of luck.

Hope this helps

I have a Zebra 110 XiIII p it does print different size bar codes

Keeping up with the Drivers is a very good idea, it will fix little problems that come along from time to time. Try resetting the printer defaults by entering the menu system and exiting, at piont of exit don't save permanently but cycle around to load defaults and exit. Go back in and set the printer up again, this time exit saving permanently.

Hi, I have a zebra 110 xi||| plus which is printing extra labels.

Did you design the label? Do you have any control over the label design? This is usually a sign that the printer is trying to excede the page limit (usually by one dot row) and is going to the next label to finish. By making the label length slightly smaller, you can stop this.

Sizing and Orientation problem on Zebra 140 Xill

As far as the size it sounds like it might not be using the right resolution these come in either 200 or 300 DPI. Make usre your DPI is set to the same as the printer. If the printer is 300 and the design shows 200 then it will print rather small on the label. Not sure about the other issue.

Print Width Issue

the issue you are having is DPI related, when data is sent to the printer and rendered it is dot for dot, so a Z4M 203dpi printer has about 800dots on the printhead where your printer has about 1200dots on the printhead. so when your software prints to dot800 thinking it is the edge of the label it is infact at 60%. there sould be an option in the software to configure around this. if not the is an option in the printer to convert DPI setting ie 150>300 or 100>200 and so on. but i don't thing you can make a 300dpi print as 203dpi

best of luck

140XiIII left side print right side completely blank

Verify your LCD Display Print Width setting is set wider than your actual label width. The printer will only print to the width of the PRINT WIDTH setting. Also verify any driver or software settings as these override your printer settings.
