No. I recently bought from Circuit City (because they are going out of business) a LG Flatron 19" Wide LCD Monitor for my computer. It is working fine. However, it did not come with a manual on how to adjust the screen. I have no clue. I have been pushing buttons, but don't know what to do next. I would like to have a manual for this, but can't find one online. I have tried and keep getting a no results for my search. I am looking for the 19" Flatron Wide LCD Monitor for Model W1952TQ. Also, since Circuit City has gone out of business, I am hoping (as Circuit City says) that the manufacture will honer the warranty on this product. I hope this is true. Can you please also let me know about this question also. Thank you for your help.

Sounds like the power circuit on the monitor is bad, this is not user replaceable.
You can try letting the monitor sit for a few hours and trying again, as sometimes these monitor can overheat but this is a less likely reason for your issue.
Same problem started happening two days ago and ever since. I called LG and the product falls under a 3yr product warranty according to them (from my original purchase date of January 20, 2007). They will send packing slips to me so I can send the defective unit back to LG. I was told I am eligible for a replacement monitor - which will be shipped to me within 10 to 14 days (consecutive days, not business) - although I'm not sure what I'm being sent in return. My suspicion is that this monitor issue is a known issue by LG and they are quietly replacing the unit to those who follow through by calling CS.
Tips: Have your original purchase date on hand (in the form of a receipt) just in case they want proof of purchase.
I just purchased the 19' SENS LCD TV + DVD and have DirectTV and was able to get the tv to work with the remote using Samsung as the manufacturer and 10178 for the code.
there is ovbiously a fault with the monitor and w ould be best if you bought a new up to date monitor then if any faults consist with that one you could just take it back
I have an LG Flatron 19" black w1952TQ that I bought on 2 Apr 2008; when it goes into sleep mode, will not recover. Did the online troubleshooting, reseting things, unplugging/replugging all cables, nothing works except restarting the computer, and that only works until it sleeps... Read more
