When playing music a error appers saying that there is a problem with your sound device or your sound device may not be functioning properiy or it is used by another device

it is either a driver conflict ? or your sound driver is not installed right ? so install your sound driver
in your computer and after installing it reboot to see if it works ? if you still have the problem you may have to change the address of the device ? hope this helps !

Casette to disc

to convert music from cassett to disk u need to connect the cassett player headphone jack / line out jack to ur PC/laptop mike / line in jack....then play the music and record it in a software(Nero Sound editor etc)
then once that's done save it as mp3 file on to ut PC and trf it to ur cd/disk....u can just copy it as mp3 or create a music cd using Nero...from the mp3 file
the difference is if u just copy the mp3 on to the cd then only a mp3 player/mp3 music system deck can play it... if it's created as a music cd then any cd player can play it....just like any music cd that u buy in the mkt...
a 700 mb disk can hold almost 7 to 10 hrs of music in mp3 format....
but a music disk can hold only 80 mins of music

I have p4 intel ,which sound driver is best for my pc?

Locate the Dell Service Tag on your computer. If you don't know where to find that look here.

Once you have located your service tag, go to http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen and enter the service tag there. That should pull up a list of drivers for your system. Click the + sign next to Audio and download and install the driver.

Sound card

Your laptop should have a sound card built into the board. To make sure, check for three round color coded holes anywhere along the edge of your laptop frame and ports. The Sound output is usually green. The sound in is blue and the mic in is red. If you plug in speakers n the green and don't here music, then check to see your SOUND DRIVERS are installed. If they are not no sound will play. The check for Sound drivers, right-click My Computer, then chose HARDWARE and let it list the components. Any one with a yellow mark needs drivers.
