Mitsubishi WT-46809 46 in. Rear Projection Television

Replaced the pico fuses on the video board. replaced 2 bad vm caps. Still just powers on and back off with 22 code. Can the ICs being bad stop it from powering on? Thought a fuse had to be blown to keep it from powering up.

Mitsubishi convergence issue

First is consider what the issue is: nothing moves convergence wise or only one color etc.

Also follow if needed the voltages from the pico fuses involved---one will be a negative voltage and the other a positive one--follow them from the diodes for each voltage to the chips---"Got Voltages?"

hi,
Error code 2-2 indicates "Short Protect Circuit" problem in tv.
Need to check pico fuses in power supply as one or two got blown due to bad convergence chips.
Below is an exploded view of tv chassis, power supply and convergence area has been marked to give you better idea to look for pico fuses.
Unplug tv from wall socket before to repair/check any thing inside tv.
Hope these info will help you.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.

Mitsubishi tv model wt-42311, error code 2-2. what can i do?

2,2 IS short protection and 95% chance it means one of the two pico fuses that protect the convergence IC chips are bad.

This model uses two of the chips: STK-392-110 and you would have to pull the light box out to replace them safely (total parts cost will be under 30 dollars).

It involves getting at the chips and the fuses and replacing them: how much skill do you have?

WT-42313 - Won't turn on. TV gives and error code of 24. I found that this is an issue with vertical deflection. I need to know how to repair this issue.

Ck pico fuse F9A05 5amps it will be green or yellow looks like resistor if bad, replace Both STK ICs STK394-250 and 2 resistors R8c13 &14 3.9ohms also resolder all 3 yoke plugins on board.

WT 46809

22 is a error code for a short protect which is triggering shutdown . Try unplugging the crt circuit boards and seeing if the fuses still blow when you press power.
