When connected to computer, treat as a removeable hard drive, open 'my computer' right click on the devices icon, drive F if it saying that, in that drop down menu it will have format, click that and follow the directions, it will ask if you are sure and warn that it will erase all content ok all and format. Then reload all tracks

How do I reset the time on my JVC KD-R200 CD RECEIVER/ WMA MP3 PLAYER?

I am not sure about the reset. You can change time. Press and hold the SEL button. When the menu appears, if pressing left/right button doesn't select clock, try turn the volume to select and press right/left to set. Let me know it works.

The ipod is frozen, screen is still lit, cannot shut off ...

Some where on the chassis there is a small reset button with a tiny hole where a pin can slip into to reset it, all MP3 players have them but in different locations. When you find it press and hold for 60 seconds to make sure the processor is cleared.

Every time I try to turn on my MP3 player it reads OPAL (in blue) initializing... what do I do?! PLEASE HELP! :)

Not sure about this model but look on the back for a real small hole. This hole is a reset button. Using a paper clip end (straighten one out) press in the hole to reset the player.

The screen says bookends and it cannot be turned off even if i press down on the meu or centre button.how to turn it off?

if the below Reset does not resolve your problem go to the link below this and click next to the right

Reset To reset your iPod:
  • 1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
  • 2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

    Tip:
    • If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
    • If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep.

My mp3 player is not responding

Make sure it is fully charged or a new battery is inserted.
Try to reset the player and see whether it helps.
This could be done by inserting a paper clip into the reset hole and press and hold for about 20 seconds.

Good Luck!

I'm trying to charge my MP3 player using a USB cord, but it does not seem to be working. What can I do?

most mp3 players have a reset button make sure it's unpluged and then press the reset button then plug it back it and that should fix it.Note the reset button is most of the time about the size of a pin hole.
