Pc fax msg:003 - Brother MFC 7420 All-In-One Laser Printer

Not enough info. What, when, etc., etc., etc. OEM or refill cartridges? What was error msg before replacement. What is msg now? Did you clean contacts?

The new HDD apparently has no OS. what is what the msg says.
boot to Bootable media with to install a NEW OS. or boot to your Recovery Media. and let it restore to Factory.
if this does not help - then provide more info.

Remove the backup battery and unplug the fax machine and leave overnight. By morning I'am hoping it will wipe everything clean when plugged back in along with the battery. But it will mean you will have to set your date and time again.

When you remove plastic cover, wich is above paper cass. you will be able to see long black plastic with white scanner section.In the midlle is handle.
You need to open and very vell close it - THIS IS SCANING PLATFORM.

If does not help you have problem with main pcb.

not sure but its something like this: Options - fax settup - station ID or sender ID.

List your menu options mayb i can help.

when fax gives msg ,fax in memory,just remove jammed paper .put fresh papers in tray.if the msg is coming on screen that fax in memory just press START key.there is a green button labeled as fax start .u will receive all faxes in memory.MIAN AKHLAQ .do not forget to rate the solution.

open front cover, press "options" button & press "start" then enter "1" then "0". when display shows accepted, close cover.

The display msg means that there are a few faxes in storage and they just need to be printed from the memory:

(Menu, 2, 5, 1), you can still print a fax from
the memory when you are at your machine.

a Press Menu, 2, 5, 3.
Remote Fax Opt
3.Print Fax
b Press Start.
c Press Stop/Exit.

Hi

Disconnect the monitor from the tower and then turn on the monitor.
If u get a msg like no input signal or check video cable then the monitor is fine. If this is the case, it could be a problem with the tower or the cable.
