Can a durabrand dvd home theater system,model #sts96 be used on tv for surround system

Look on the back or bottom of the Durabrand Home Theater system and look for the UL code. Google that code and it will tell you the orginal manufacture of the unit. You can then look up the code, and more than likely you will see that Durabrand is not the orignal maker. Hope this helps>

just either use rca jacks from the dvd to the tv,,u know ..the red,yellow,and white cables,,,,that will do it,,,using the rca jacks ,,make sure to set the the dvd/reciever settings to anolog

HI, connect audio output from tv to system,you may have to turn this on or turn up in tv menu for some sharp tvs,this should get sound for tv and dvd and anything else you hook up to tv.

Have you checked all the channels connected correctly refer to the user manual once.

Usually you have to press Aux or Acs and hold it down untill it blinks then you have to press in a number that usually is listed in the Cable remote manual then after that it should either blink or stay steady for a couple seconds. Then it should be fixed. Hope this helps. =)

you can hook it up to your tv and make your regular shows sound like theaters too. all you have to do is check with your tv menu and look for a setting there which is similar to hall,theater...etc. not all audio settings has this though.
