My controller wont connect - Sega Genesis Console

If you can still play games with the USB cable connected to the controller and the console then the batteries inside the controller are dead and can't be charged anymore. You would need to replace the batteries, although getting a different new or used controller may be cheaper and less of a hassle. If you can't even play games with the cable connected try a known good USB cable and connect it to the console.

You've attempted to sync it right? You click and hold the sync button on both the xbox and controller until each one is spinning around. Then it should grab and connect.

Try to put in new batteries in the back of you controller.

You cant just Turn it on by the middle button you have to hold the middle button and the start button at the same time for 3seconds then it will turn on.

When you connect the controller to a PS3 system via cable it pairs with it. And the only way that controller will work with another system is to plug it in also and let it pair with that one. That way when you turn the controller on it wont power up two systems and browse two systems at once. This is the way that Sony designed the controller.

you may have a shortage in your controller cord and may need to buy another one

on the back of your controller there is a little round button, press and hold that down, if that does not work try pressing and the little white button on the xbox faceplate for a few seconds. it should then work.

did u press both white buttons

try a normal controller if the normal controller works then your gutar doesn't i would take it back to get it replaced.
