Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.


The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.


Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

My sony cybershot will only download with PMB which comes with sony cameras an dhas usb drivers and picture/video software viewer. PMB is Picture Motion Browser and you can download it for free form sony site or just google it. Hope this helps.

I use w210 Sony Cybershot! I was taking pictures out in the sun, when I saw smoke coming out the camera and the camera become very hot. I also saw that I was using the camera bymistakely in the twilight mode out in the sun. And since then I tried intitializing it but the Error E:91:01 and flash symbol wont stop blinking. And flash Seems to have stopped working. Please help me to solve this problem

Click and open that ‘driver’, you may see two folders DCIM and MISC. click and open DCIM, you may see another folder such as 101MSDCF, open it you’ll see all the pictures. Select the pictures then copy to wherever you want.

Just select the type of Operating System you are using in your new laptop and you'll see the selection for the software you need. It may be updated software, but it's what you need.

maybe you inserted the memory card improperly? this happened to me too.

You need to format memory stick by going into camera menu.
