Hi I have a borrowed old Quinny Zapp for which I bought the Quinny Zapp Xtra seat and adaptors. Does the quinny bumper bar fit it? Thanks

Hi Maria

If you have a 2011 model Zapp Xtra seat unit the bumper bar is not suitable to use on it.

The bumper bar accessory is only suitable for 2012 model Zapp Xtra seat unit onward. On the back of the seat unit there is a manufacturing sticker which shows date of production, which will tell you if your seat is suitable for using bumper bar accessory.

Quinny Zapp stroller with folding seat

Hi David

At the moment the Quinny Zapp Xtra with folding seat unit is only available in the USA.

If you are in the USA please contact [email protected] to ask them about compatibility between the products you have and the new Quinny Zapp Xtra folding seat unit.

If you are not in the USA we must advise you not to attempt to combine your products with a USA Quinny Zapp Xtra folding seat unit as the products have not been tested or approved in combination.

Can a quinny extra seat fit a quinny zapp

Hi

Yes the Quinny Zapp Xtra seat unit can be purchased as an accessory from your local Quinny retailer and fitted to a standard Zapp chassis. You will need to remove the standard Zapp fabric from the chassis.

Quinny zapp xtra bumper bar for older version

Hi

Quinny cannot advise the use of non-official Quinny products with the pushchair.

The Zapp Xtra bumper bar is not compatible with the 2011 model Zapp Xtra seat unit as modifications were made for the 2012 model seat unit to be compatible with the bumper bar.

Does the new quinny zapp extra hood fit onto the old style zapp? Or any other quinny hood? I don't mind removing it before folding.

Hi

No the new Quinny Zapp Xtra sun canopy is part of the seat fabric.

If you wish to turn your standard Quinny Zapp into a Quinny Zapp Xtra you need to purchase the Quinny Zapp Xtra seat unit as an accessory from your local retailer as it will have the seat frame and the adaptors required to fit it into the chassis you have.

Visit www.quinny.com to find your nearest retailer.

Replace broken quinny zapp hooks?

Hi

The clips on the standard Zapp fabric for it to be inserted into the chassis and attached correctly are not available as separate spare part items. It would be a case of replacing the seat fabric.

How do i attatch the quinny zapp xtra seat to the quinny zapp frame

Yes the new seat unit can be used with old zap.You remove the fabric seat (look on u-tube if you don't know how)the new seat unit then fits on to frame via the addapters that come with the xtra seat unit, at the point where the car seat addapters fit. There is a large push button on the top of the seat unit which you push in to recline or sit up the seat, and a little one too next to it, that needs to be pushed away from the larger one, while you hold the large button down when you want to remove the seat unit.I found fitting the xtra seat very easy.To fold the zapp you Must remove the entire seat unit as it won't fold with it on, unlike the old one.

I have the old quinny zapp and have just ordred the new quinny zapp seat unit do i need adaptors for it to fit

If you have ordered a standard Quinny Zapp seat fabric there are no adaptors required as it fits exactly the same way as your original seat fabric. If you have ordered a Quinny Zapp Xtra seat unit it should come complete with two metal recline adaptors to use it in your chassis. If it does not, speak with your retailer.

I purchased a quinny zapp and am wanting to take of the pushchair material in order to fix the maxi cosi cabrio fix car seat to the frame can u please tell me how.

Removing Seat
It is necessary to remove
the seat from the frame
when preparing to use
the car seat adapters.
Unzip seat zipper at the
back of the seat.
To unclip the seat from
the frame,
fold stroller enough to
relieve the tension on the clips.
