Question about Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 Webcam
Posted by Anonymous on
If you're like me, and you have "thinned" out your Windows, or used any of those programs to "speed up" your computer, make sure "terminal" is enabled in your services. For some reason, this wont allow video effects to work. Very common problem. Good luck!

I really don't know about this but I'll try to help! Do you still have your webcam installation disk? If so, try un-installing your webcam, then install it again. If this doesn't work then I'm soory and ask another expert!

The solution (or, should I say "supposed" solution) posted by yooperbud is 100% wrong, wrong, wrong. As a matter of fact, he couldn't BE more wrong. While the original question asked had to do with software for the QuickCam Pro 9000 for the Mac, the answer he gave is 100% directed at the Windows OS, NOT the Mac. To anyone, and everyone, who has voted his reply a "Yes", I am sorry.
