Mute option How do you press mute on the Toshiba DKT-2020-SD?

You'll need an HHEU Headset Interface which installs inside the set via a ribbon cable.

Do not press the conf/transfer key.
press the intercom button first.
Then press the day key or dial ext number.

If there is a Dnd butto programmed, it will be located on the top right hand side. By pressing the do not disturb button the ring wil be abbreviated. otherwise it you will have to go into the phone system programming to make that phone not ring.

This does depend on which Toshiba phone system your phone is connected to
Here are a couple possible methods


Press button
Dial 601(all calls) or 602(busy) or 603(no answer) or 604(busy/noanswer)
Dial voicemail access code(extension number of voicemail)
Press button to end


Press button
Dial #601(all calls) or #602(busy) or #603(no answer) or #604(busy/noanswer)
Dial voicemail access code
Press button to end

FOR THE TOSHIBA DKT 2020-SD:

From main console phone (lowest extension number i.e. x100) pick up handset and dial following codes:

For Time: Press "Intercom" and the numbers 652 enter the time in military format HHMMSS (HH=hours in 24hr clock, MM=minutes, SS=seconds) press "Redial".

The generic instuction for mute on almost all phones is *6 (star followed by 6). To un-mute just press *6 again.

There may be a specific command for your phone, but I'd be surprised if this does not work.

you can dial the ext number plus the digit 1.
otherwise you would have to go into programming.

Please try this..

1. From main console phone (lowest extension number i.e. x100) pick up handset and dial following codes:
   
2. For Date: 651 YYMMDD Redial ----(YY=year, MM=month, DD=day)
   
3. For Time: 652 HHMMSS Redial ----(HH=hours in 24hr clock, MM=minutes, SS=seconds)
   
4. For Day of Week: 653 X Redial ----(X=day of week 1=sunday, 2=monday....etc.)
   

If won't work, try this

From Extension port 00 (usualy station 200)

1. Lift Handset Dial #652
2. Enter Correct Time HH MM SS
3. Press Redial
4. Replace Handset
