Daewoo e8 - engine error! or Bad soldering.
Remove the control panel (the one in which many connections). Remove the rear rubber compound around contacts blue relay.
Resolder them. And it will be all ok!
Or - remove the entire back of the compound and look for where the bad soldering (cold soldering ). You can see it - blackened or exfoliated. Just solder all.

It could be the pressure sensor. If if never detects that there is enough water then it will never do anything else. The pressure sensor has an air small air hose that goes to a hollow, usually plastic cylinder that measures the pressure. Make sure the hose is securely attached on both ends. By the way, there should be a wiring diagram in the bottom of the unit for "service" point of view, but if you can follow a simple print you can read this. One end of the hose goes to a small electronic...sort of module...it has a cylinoid that will allow 115VAC to pass through or not. Generally, if it is not passing 115vac then it does not thing there is enough water in the drum yet. If you have a multimeter you could check the wires for 115 with the drum empty and full. If the 115 goes on and off then it gets worse because it is the main board. Hope that helps.

The E8 error code has a simple fix.. change the carbon brushes, I had the problem and I do every 12 months or so, I make brushes at work (Mersen) and was able to manufacture some from grade Eg300 H, and get 2 spare, they cost around ZAR 150.00 around 10 USD.two screw to take the brush holder off the motor(tilt the machine on its side, against the wall) and work from the bottom of the machine.

Haier top loader Model HWMP65-918 Machine will fill, go through all cycles, spin and drain. It wont agitate/ wash the clothes

Hi,

Try a power cycle before replacing any parts. You can also turn your dial counter clockwise and retest the wash. Otherwise, I would suggest setting up an appointment with home depot to get a full list of parts that need to be replaced in your washer.

Thank you.

Frigidaire heavy duty super capacity 2 speed combonation sometimes goes through cycle fine but mostly continuously fills and drains at start S.N. XE32103237 - FEZ831CAS2

All front loading washers will fill and drain multiple times before it finishes. Unlike a top loader, a front loading washer will take longer to run because there is no agitator and will fill with water and drain multiple times. A front loader is more energy efficient than a Traditional top loading washing machine. A washer dryer combo will take hours to complete a cycle.

Washer machine front loader wont fill up and wont drain

it maybe that the pump winding is open circuit some machines use the pump winding as the neutral line for the water valves so if the pump fails they wont fill no point in it filling if it wont empty

Washer won't drain or spin

top loader ??? or front loader??? if top loader you have broken your lid switch, will fill, agitate, but when it comes to drain/spin for safety reasons if the unit doent recognize the lid closed it will not advance...if yo have a front loader then i would suspect that something has gotten into the pump assy and preventing drainiing of water therefore will not spin
