I have a Jenn-Air 5-burner, dual fuel, duel oven with convection range. I purchased it approx March 2007. The upper oven has stopped working reliably: when completely cool, you can set to bake, input a temperature, and it will warm-up appropriately. Then, generally a few minutes into the primary cooking time, the oven quits, and the soft touch buttons on the panel are non-responsive - they'll produce nothing except a double-beep. The clock remains active and keeps time. It seems to exhibit this behavior whether Cook or Broil is selected. (The bottom oven and the gas stove continues to work correctly during this period.) It seems to me as though there may be a temperature sensor or safeguard that is being inappropriately triggered; or possibly a short that is somehow heat-activated. Can you provide some guidance?

oven burner may have to much oxygen and the burner does not lite all the way around, there is a cap or a vent as the burner connects to the safety valve, close about quarter of an inch. or one of the holes on that burner is dirty and the gas does not past the gas all around the burner. you have to see whats happening by turning the oven on, but stay at a distance. and look at the burner when it first comes on. that will tell you the problem.

I had the same issue with washing the top with water and cleaning solution. I had arching, eventually one burner failed to ignite. I tried the above solution and it did not work. Remove the ceramic top on the burner that will not ignite. Turn on another working element. Do you see the igniter working?
If so slowly turn on the gas on the failed burner and it will ignite. I'm looking into what component automatically controls the igniting and gas release when the knob is turned on.

the oven controller in the main service/selection panel has either a bad solder joint on the circuits or the start realy for the oven on the same circuit board is bad and you have to replace the whole panel you cannot just buy the relay
