Re: i have a 1988 chevy astr van and need to know how
The easiest way is to purchase an installation kit that is matched to your vehicle, and comes with a pigtail plug that inserts directly in to your existing radio connector, and the pigtail wires match up color for color to your new unit

Easiest to replace would be the factory Delco AM/FM CD...plug in to existing terminals. If wires cut, you should include the plug in terminals with the replacement radio...Local Pic-A-Part is my go to salvage yard radio $25-$75...Walmart also sells radio wire install kits...$14.95? Hope this helps.
You might be getting fuel to the rail, but are you getting enough? Double check the installation and make sure you didn't kink the fuel lines when putting the tank back in. This could cause a reduced fuel flow resulting in a no-start condition.

come on this thing is so simple its untrue, why didnt you just cut the old lock off and put a new one on.As for the bearings just stick them back in with grease ,you should be able to get some at the bike shop ,but the bearing paths could be worn so if you can get a slighter bigger ball ?refitting is the reverse procedure to taking it apart
your installing an aftermarket cd player in place of factory radio?
it would be best to buy the harness adapters. they plug into the factory harness and will tell you what all the wires are. harness is usually only 10-15 dollars. here is the diagram also.
