The best way to transfer song is to connect your mobile with the PC and use the connection type as mass storage and then you can simply transfer data as you do in a usb flash drive.
Motorola V3i plays song using itunes. You need to import song into your itune library in your PC and the steps are as follows. 1. Run Itunes in your PC. 2. Attach your V3i mobile to the PC using the supplies USB cable . 3. Then a message will come "do you want the itune enabled phone syncronise with itune library" click yes. 4 Your V3i will appear as Formula6 in the left side menu bar of the . Simply select your favourite song and drag it to the "formula6". If you click "Formula6" you will find all the songs in your V3i. Just clik and delete any song from V3i if you want.
First unzip the zip file. If you need unzipping software, use www.7-zip.org. Extract all the files inside to your Desktop for easy locating. Be careful of unzipping a zip file. If you do not totally trust the source, zip files can have nasty viruses and malware on them. People sometimes load these onto P2P file sharing networks - maybe to discourage people from sharing. People do it anyway, just know the risks.
For the next steps, I need to know whether you are using a SD card or a USB cable to get the data into your phone.
Assuming it is an SD card, you need to have a SD card reader for your computer to transfer the files into it.
If it is a USB cable connection, you need a media managing software such as Motorola Phone Tools to do the transfer.
You could also do it with a mobile web service, if you have that service from your carrier. You'd need to upload the unzipped file(s) to a wap server, but there are many that are free.
ya previously when your system was have that funny scandal, smss.exe, and autorun.inf virus it was effected to your mobile also .... as i told previously those virus will be infected which ever memory device you connect to pc ...
so i think after removing threats some file which was needed for that operation is deleted ... just check your whole pc for virus again it might have got infected by those files again ... if not then right click on that drive and then give explore .. i think there is a file named autorun.inf in that delete it .. after restarting your system it will work ....
this type of hanging problem is due to virus attack to ur phone... due to the virus attack some operating software files have became unstable which are needed for successful operation of the cell... this virus attack is may be due the transfering of some datas like songs etc from pc or from the other mobiles via bluetooth .....
so i suggest you to give restore factory settings ... if the problem persists then just take your cell to technician .. the technician will be having a special DKU series cable which are used for resetting the phone, removing codes, reinstalling of softwares etc......
