Can rocker arms cause heavy knocking noise

what is the motor from? Typically if you changed out all those parts already and its still a heavy knock, you're looking at crank bearings. How did you change the connecting rod bearings without the crank bearings? or are you referring to something else? I would assume its connecting rod bearings are the issue, if main bearings go you would see an issue in oil pressure.

Drain water from air compressor

Place your hand under it and it will sting you quite nicely. But it is normal.

The wire came off from the flush lever i don't know where you connected in yhe other side

if it came off the lever its self you conect it to the rod conected to the lever there is holes in it for that if still alached to the lever there is a stopper at the bottom of the tank it should have a little ring on the top of it to connect the chain wire to

Can the connecting rod bearings be accessed from under the car? I assume I will have to remove the oil pan and oil pump suction tube/screen to gain access to them, or is there an obstruction I am not aware...

NO YOU CAN GO THROW OIL PAN BUT IF YOU HAVE A BAD KNOCK YOU MAY NEED THE CRANK TRUNED AND NEW CONECTING ROD YOU CANT JUST GO PUT BEARING IN IF YOU DONE DAMAGE TO BEARING

Inconsitant knocking

that small hole was caused buy a pistion being broken and making that hole. that knock you hear it the broken conecting shaft from the crank shaft to the pistion head hitting the side of oil pan/everything else in the engine. and it changed with RPM b/c the fast you go the fast it hits everything. i'm sorry but this is major surgury for your engine. if go now you might be able to save it.
