I haven't made bread in my breadmachine for many years. I can remember which ingredients go in the machine first. Dry or liquid?

As long as you are making bread after you put the ingredients in it doesn't make any difference. In general I usually put the yeast in last. If you are using the delay timer then you MUST always put the yeast in last so it doesn't touch the liquid. Do you need an operators manual? I have some.

Hi Lost info on order in which ingredients are placed in machine. I have an old Williams Sonoma unit. Thanks Marilyn

It doesn't make any difference unless you are using the time delay. If you are baking right away just add the ingredients in which ever order you want but add the yeast last just before pushing the start button.

I lost my manual and cannot remember the order in which to put the ingredients in the machine.

Liquids first, then butter or oil, sugar etc. everything but the flour and yeast. The flour goes in second before last. And the yeast goes in last. I have heard that it doesn't really make any difference what order you put it in if you plan to make bread right away and not use the timer. But most manuals say to do it the way I have listed here.

How to operate breadman breadmachine -- I lost my user's manuel and I don't remember the order in which ingredients are to be added.

I don't want to pay money to solve this problem. Afterall, I've used the machine before, I just don't remember the order in which the ingredients are to be added. But since there are only 3 major ingredients (and I know the flour goes in first), I'll just experiment with the remaining two until I figure it out!

Need the operting Manual for PerfectBaker PB571

Here's some info;
http://www.creativehomemaking.com/download/TR888_1183_Recipe_Book.pdf

Here is some operating instructions one baker used for this machine;

But here's how to actually use it:

Put wet ingredients in loaf pan. Heap dry ingredients on top. Make a well in dry ingredients and add yeast, ensuring it doesn't touch liquid if you want to use the timer. Put pan in breadmaker, clicking into place.

Plug in breadmaker but DO NOT touch the on/off button till the very last.

Using the "menu" button, choose what type of bread you're making (the top two rows -- normal, fruity etc).
Using the "crust control" select how dark you want your crust.
Using the "timer" select how long till you get the finished product. The minimum is 3 hours for quick bread/medium crust, which I often use, the maximum 14 hrs 30mins. It goes up in 30 minute increments with each push of the up arrow. Remember, what the timer shows is when the finished bread will be ready.

Once you're satisfied with your settings, press on/off

If you choose "fruity bread" the timer will beep into the kneading process to tell you it's time to add the fruit. It goes in at a later stage.

When the bread is finished, it will keep on a warm cycle for a while until you switch it off.

I use high grade flour and add 1 tsp gluten flour to each cup of flour. The bread rises more.

I have a Toastmaster Bread Box, Model 1142. I recently moved and the instruction manual was lost. Can I get another one? I can't remember the order of ingredients.

hi rcsegaar,

For Toastmaster parts, service or manuals, go to

http://prc.prodregister.com/prodprotect/applica/

And click on "toastmaster" (lower-left portion of the page), it redirects you to a secure webpage where you can register.

https://secure.prodregister.com/prodprotect/applica/tm.shtml

Part of the page reads:
"Call toll-free or visit our websites for assistance if you need more help.

Parts & Accessories:
Phone: 1-800-738-0245 (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., ET)

Product Warranty:
Service: 1-800-231-9786 (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., ET)"

If they no longer support this part, I'd go hunting on eBay.

If I can be of further assistance, let me know. If this solves the issue, please rate it accordingly.

Thanks in-advance for using Fixya.com,

Jon
