Have you tried cleaning out in and around the inlet on the washer (where the cold hooks into the washer)? We had the same problem. When I removed the cold water hose, I cleaned out the end of it and the inlet on the washer-there should be a small screen on the washer side. It does it on cold because with the hot, a hot water heater filters most of the debris out of the water before it comes out and the cold water is not filtered. Hope this helps!
As far as the vibration, my model has "self leveling" rear legs-WHICH DO NOT LEVEL :)
What I do is everytime it starts that, once the washer is empty, is to pull the back of the washer about 8-10 inches off the floor-by standing in front of the washer and leaning the front of it toward me. I then let it carefully drop back to the floor. With this washer, you have to make sure that your load is perfectly balanced and even and not at all overloaded before allowing any water in. Hope this helps also!!

From what you have said, you may have a bad solenoid in your water fill valve. it's the rubber piece under the debris screen. if you can get that out and replace it, you'll be golden.

Not only does the water trickle out but the machine goes into excessive vibration on the spin cycle, like it move along the floor and shakes half the house.
Hot water fills ok, warm fills faster, cold is worthless
