my mother suggested this to me.
run the hot water tap in the sink that the dishwasher taps into .
So that the water going into the dish washer is going to be hot !
the other thing was that the plastic coated detergent block thing may need a longer wash cycle setting so that the plastic covering dissolves completely to clean the dishes more .
Water hardness could be an issue .
dish washer may have a slat reservoir and a water hardness setting . Check the dish washer manual for water ph level adjustments.

Hi,
Here is a tip that will help you to find out why water will not come into the
dishwasher...
Dishwasher Trouble No Water entering Dishwasher
heatman101
I had the same problem. It was a clogged water inlet valve. Packed with sediment. Accessible from the bottom if you have the right tools. Just clean out and replace. Or the valve could be bad.
Same as above problem: I have had this dishwasher for less than 4 years and the dishes as of about 2 years ago stopped getting cleaned. I use the recommended dish liquid and rinse and lightly clean the dishes before I put them in. What a piece of junk!! gs
Heater is used to both heat water during clean cycle and dry dishes after wash cycle. Most washers have either a separate switch for Heat or Dry for optional use, or some have the water heat and dish dry options built into cycle set options.
You can save money by turning off the Dish Dry option since it is a very in-efficient way to dry dishes. Instead, open the wishwasher door after washing cycle completes, just enough so fresh air can get into, and humid air can escape, dishwasher.
Water Heat option is only needed for dried food on dishes, and is never needed if dishes are either rised off before putting them in the dishwasher, or rinsed off inside the dishwaser with a Rinse cycle, if they are to stand for a time waiting for a full dishwasher for wash.
