My D-Link DI-514 wireless router doesn't even light up anymore when I plug it in.. The router's status light would fail and I would lose connectivity. I'd restart the router and it would work for a minute or so before the status light (only) fails and I'd lose connectivity. NOW, when I go to plug it back in, none of the lights light up (power light, WAN ...). I've tried reseting the unit, to no avail. Is my wireless router DOA?

To reset your router, use the following steps:
The router has now been reset.
The unit should now reboot, and once the WLAN light stops blinking the router should be reset.

If those lights are lit, they often have a "Code" this code is in the manual. Please find below a link for the manual I am sure all will be found in it. ftp://ftp.dlink.co.uk/di_broadband_gateways/di-524/di-524_manual.pdf Oh & I am sure ya can connect another WiFi'ed PC no prob's.

The information he gave you was correct for a new DI-514 but if this has already been used it could be that the password was set. To take care of this problem, you can return the router to factory default settings by inserting a paper clip into the reset hole at the back (leave the router plugged in and turned on), hold it for ten seconds and then release. The router should reboot. Try the 192 and admin again.
