When somebody rings sometimes it only rings once then goes silent

As per the display of your phone, I assumed that the bell is turned OFF that's why sound is not coming out from the speaker.

OK. Go to the handset direct command menu:

Press Menu
Enter code:
#238 (Silent mode 1=on 0=off)
Then Press 'Save'
To exit, press 'Off'

Other code that may help you:
#160 (0-6 Volume)
#161 (Tone)

This is a mode known as silent/vibration, to switch from this, either press the volume up button on the side of the phone, or press and hold the # button.

May b it is in silent mode.........if it is then switch over to general....

To switch off silent mode please follow the below instructions

Menu > Profiles >

You will get following options in it

Normal/General
Silent
Meeting
Outdoor
Pager

Scroll through the normal/General profile and
Press select once the normal/General profile is highlighted.
Scroll to Select and press Select.
Now you are out of silent mode.
If the mobile is still in general and in silent mode then follow the below steps.
Scroll to the normal/General profile and press Select.
Scroll to Customize and press Select.

In that you will have an option called as Ringing Option.
Please set it to ringing and save the settings.

You are done

you might have set silent profile for that particular contact. Check it and get back to me.

Go to your sound option under settings, and there should be an option for SOUND, you should be able to increase, the volume there, Let me know how it goes, thanks

Please check your Profile settings Silent or No ringer ,if all option is enables please change your cell phone's buzzer

I have the same phone, when you close it with the camera facing you you will see the two buttons on the left side. One is long (on top) and the small one is on the bottom, or under neath it. You press the long putton which is above and you should see the word STYLE: followed by either "Silent" " Vibrate" "Loud" etc. Once you have pressed the skinny long button on the left side and the screen says STYLE: silent then you press the little button below it once, then press it again, etc it cycles through the different ringing modes like silent, vibrate, vibrate then ring, soft, and loud. You press it until you see a setting you like and then press the long skinny button on top to set it. I keep mine on Loud. I hope this helps.

try to software reset the handset in menu.
