DBXR463GG1WW doesn't start.......no sound from motor. there is power to the dryer. where do I start. Is this a common problem with this GE model???

SOURCE: My Electric dryer will not start.

you might have something stuck in the impeller. if there isn't anything stuck, you might require a new motor

Sounds like your cycle timer is faulty,I would replace it.

Do this.

press "Home"
press "Help"
press both "My Cycles" and "Back" at the same time and hold them until service mode pops up.
It will tell you what's wrong.
