Cant run repair for acer empowering technologies. file missing ADMIN_CLASS_LIB.dll....have 7720 acer labtop...installed anniversay edition of adaware...it said some things were suspect and i removed ....big mistake any suggestions....messed up

Reregister SSL security libraries. To do this, click "Start," click "Run," and type in each command below and hit ENTER.

Note: After each command is executed successfully, you will receive a "DllRegisterServer succeeded" message. Wait until you receive this message before you continue to the next command.

a. REGSVR32 softpub.dll
b. REGSVR32 wintrust.dll
c. REGSVR32 initpki.dll
run reginout cleaner to easily fix it

Check to see if the required files are present:

• Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\kodak. Check for 2 folders "kds_aio5000(for AiO 5000 series printers) and kds_aioesp(for ESP series)
• Depending on printer model, open kds_aio5000 or kds_aioesp.
• For kds_espaio it should only have the lib folder. It doesn't have the ekaiowia.dll
• Inside the lib folder it should have cct.ekpgct, hippo.dll. Both for kds_aio5000 and kds_aioesp.
• If hippo.dll is missing then try the following:

Option 1: 1. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kodak\EasyShareSetup\printer\scanner 2. Right click on aioscnnr.msi and choose uninstall once this is finished reinstall it by double clicking on the same msi file. 3. Check to see if the scanner files are now present (see above) if not then go to Option 2 Option 2: 1. Insert the Home AiO CD. Go to CD rom drive\printer\scanner 2. Right click on aioscnnr.msi and choose uninstall once this is finished reinstall it by double clicking on the same msi file. 3. Check to see if the scanner files are now present (see above) if not then go to Option 3 Option 3: (manual installation) 1. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kodak\EasyShareSetup\printer\scanner or on CDROM drive ..\printer\scanner 2. Open the aioscnnr.cab file then look for the missing file(files needed: cct.ekpgct, hippo.dll, and ekaiowia.dll) Extract the files anywhere on to the computer (Desktop is preferable). 3. Copy the cct.ekpgct, and hippo.dll to C:\WINDOWS\system32\kodak\kds_aio5000\lib 4. Copy the ekaiowia.dll to C:\WINDOWS\system32\kodak\kds_aio5000

Hi, You need to Acer eNET Management, the empowering Technology,
using Acer eLock Management and Acer eRecovery Management, you must initialise the Empowering Technology password. Right-click on the Empowering Technology toolbar and select "Password Setup" this will enable you to do so. If you have not initialized the Empowering Technology password and run Acer eLock Management or Acer eRecovery Management, you must create it.
Acer eNet Management this will assist you to quickly connect to both wired and wireless networks. to access this utility, select "Acer eNet Management" from the Empowering Technology toolbar or
run the program from the Acer Empowering Technology program group in Start menu.

This should resolve your issue

Basically the application isn't there, that's why when you press the "e" button on the computer it says ''the system cannot find the file specified''.

What you need to do is download the appropriate software from Acer support, download empowering technology here >>>>>>>>>>>>

You can try system restore

• Click on Start Menu.
• Click on Programs-> Accessories->System tools-> System Restore.
• Then Select the earlier date and Click on Finish.

This will restore the computer and can get the data.

Two ways out :

1.) Run a disc defrag on all the drives.

It seems as though your windows is corrupted. To solve this I would recommend a recovery back to factory settings but this will delete all the data of the computer.

You can save your data by
using an IDE/ATA to USB adapter on another computer or take it to computer store.

To begin the recovery
Remove all external devices like printers, mp3 players etc

Ensure the laptop is running on ac power

You can start the Recovery from outside Windows by holding down ALT and F10 on the Acer BIOS splashscreen on power up.

Download the file Belarc and run it , when it finishes it will tell you everything about andeverything that is on you computer. The serial # will be on th right .belowSyet model heading.
