Yup, the icemaker is the most likely culprit. Replace it.

it may be necessary to reset the hinge adjustment to move the door further across the opening giving the magnets a better area to hold on to . there is a slight amount of adjustment in the mounting points of the hinges. You may have to replace the door gaskets as they become hard over time and the magnets cannot work properly in the hard plastic

-If it seal too tight and can't take it out. How about try this.
-Turn off the water
-Release water out of the tap.
-Now remove it. It should be easy to remove.

Hello Eric. Take a close look at the ice maker. It may have ice built up which will have to be removed. To do that use a hair blow dryer. J.

removed freezer door and drawer by lifting and pulling out. removed ice maker with 3 screws and disconnect electrical plug. applied heat with hair dryer to water line. and all is well
