Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere Portable Speakers for Apple iPod - Black Logo

Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere Portable Speakers for Apple iPod . It keeps shutting off after a few minutes. It's plugged into a wall outlet.

  • Anonymous Apr 22, 2009

I have the exact same problem. It'll be playing my iPod for a while, and then just shut off for now reason after a few minutes, even while in the middle of a song. It's plugged into the wall with it's power supply, so I KNOW it's not a battery power issue. What's up with that?

Many have reported the same issue, reset the pure-fi with the reset switch (on bottom) while it is turned on, then put your iphone/ipod at 75+ % of volume before/while playing.

Same problem as everyone else, I bought a brand new one today so was a little annoyed! anyways I pulled the adaptor off and squeezed the pins together just a little so the connection was being made with the pins. INSTANT FIX :-D

How do i get my logitech pure-fi anywhere tm2 to stop turning off at the power

If its turning off when fed from the audio input socket, unplug the output from your audio device, turn off the Logitech speakers. Play music on audio device and plug back in, the speakers will auto-power on and remain on

The remote just doesn't work

I had a similar problem, my speakers are only a month old, and the other day, all the buttons on the remote just stopped working except for the volume and power buttons.

I just pressed the reset button on the bottom of the speakers and it seems to of done the job, so maybe you could try that :)?
Hope this helps..

To reset your Pure-Fi Anytime, do the following:

Press and hold the Source and Preset 2 buttons (shown below) on the top of your Pure-Fi Anytime for 5-10 seconds.
NOTE: The reset procedure will restore the Pure-Fi Anytime to factory defaults and all presets will be cleared.

Plugged in no power

the connecting pins have been flattened slightly by putting the plug on and off. i GENTLY squeezed the pins in an upward direction so they would make a better connection.
remember to be gently. when you fix this. do not dismantle the charger again.

Speaker stops after a few minutes

I was having the same problem but I seemed to solve it by having the laptop volume maxed and using the dock to control volume. I think that it has a sleep function where if it is not getting a signal it powers off and for some reason the laptop isn't putting out a strong enough signal to keep it awake. Maxing the laptop volume seems to give it a constant enough signal so that the problem went away.
