SOURCE: all of a sudden my

it can actually be your starter. many times a bad starter just wont turn at all. it can be that, a short, or the only other thing i can think of would be a blown starter fuse. you can check your fuse box in the engine compartment, it should be like a 50 to 80 amp fuse thats in a little clear box in the fuse section of your fuse compartment. hope this helps. and if fuse is good, you can try poking the starter with a stick and try to start. if it does something after poking it, then its the starter

SOURCE: Car wouldn't start. Thought

did they run a test on the alternator!! at battery when off should be at least 12.6 volts, less than 12 volts battery is bad. when running at battery voltage should be at least 14.1 to 14.7, thats if alternator is ok. if less than above replace alternator. if alt. is ok, could be a bad battery.

SOURCE: 1994 camry won't start after cleaning under

Sounds like wet or moist spark plug wires. If this also occurs during early morning high dew point humid air, then you may have spark plug wires shorting out.

Replace wires.

SOURCE: My car was running, then

Hi,
You need to have the cam angle and crankshaft position sensors checked. These are 2 parts which enable the ignition system to fire. If these are ok then check that the rotor in the distributor is turning when you crank the engine.
If it is not turning then you have a cambelt/chain or gear problem which you will need to repair before it will start again.
Hope this helped.
Thanks
Jason

SOURCE: vw polo abs light won't

Well, first of all, did you fix the problem that caused the fuse to blow? Have you scanned you Antilock Brake System (ABS) module for fault codes? Since the computer is the one responsible for turning the light on, wouldn't you think that the computer would be the one to ask WHY it has turned the light on?

Why wont my butane torch light after i filled it?

There are 3 common problems:
1. Faulty Ignition. You can try to ignite the flame with a different source of ignition to verify a faulty ignition and eliminate the other issues below.

2. Clogged Nozzle. Compressed air around the nozzle may help free any debris in the nozzle that may cause the problem

3. Incorrect fuel. Some butane may be low quality and difficult to ignite. Try a different source of fuel

Butane torch leaking from valve

Potentially very dangerous so repair it or replace it as a matter of urgency.

If the knob can be removed the valve can generally be dismantled and new seals fitted though early valves tended to use a gland seal that was adjusted by tightening the gland nut until a gas-tight condition is restored. If the valve cannot be turned when a gas-tight condition is restored, the shaft is worn or damaged...

I have a eagle torch lighter it worked one time and now all it does is flicks but no flame

Turn it upside down and depress the fill port to let the air out then refill it with butane and try it another common thing is the igniter point gets pushed in and is too close to the manifold where the fuel comes through and where the flame starts at.

I have an Eagle butane torch. Is there a limit to the amount of time you should have your torch lit? I seem to recall hearing that you shouldn't burn it longer than 30 seconds. Is this true?

Why do you need to burn it for that long? If it is a small 'blow torch' style lighter they are only designed to be lit long enough to light a cigarette or cigar. If you need a flame source for longer periods of time you're better off using a full size blow torch.
The smaller cigarette 'torches' are small and made of lightweight parts. These can heat up the whole lighter. Possibly causing it to the burn the hand or even exploding!

What do you do if your eagle torch lighter leaks at the fill port... How do you fix it?

There is a little black O-ring that sets on the refill valve.
