Your circuit between the two has been grounded out or messed with, anytime your blowing a fuse it is because the circuit it is wired to is getting hot, usually a wire grounding that is a positive wire and not a ground, better get a test light if your gonna check it yourself.,if you had someone put in a stereo or something new to the electricals they probably wired in to that circuit which would explain your problem, let me know, hope this was helpful.

Check your ciggerette lighter and power point and make sure they are clean. pull the lighter right out and try again. also a 7.5 amp fuse seems very small to run your dash and tail lights. should be a 20 amp fuse.

SOURCE: Dashboard and tail lights out on 97" Nissan Sentra

I took my pathfinder to U-HAUL and asked them to check the towing lights. There was a pinched wire by my tail light and they cut it and changed it out for me, it was $5. I am so glad that I didnt take it to Nissan. My second step was going to be getting a new dimmer switch..but the guy who worked on my car said that wouldnt be the problem. He also told me that replacing a fuse that kept blowing out was dangerous and after the first time to get it checked out. Learn something new every day!!

SOURCE: dash board lights out and tail lights working intermittently

Looks like a bad headlamp switch. Poor contact inside the switch contacts will cause this issue.

Was driving down the road and the car went BANG and jerked real bad. It has done it one time two different days

If you have vibration, take the car and have it inspected. Suspension and drive train. If thee outr side parts look good, Have them drain the transmission and check for metal . Only thing I think of for this would be CV axles (there would vibration all the time) or internal transmission damage.

My 06 lancer Es would not start this morning but it did crank. There is no check engine light. What can cause this?

if you are in a real cold area, could be moisture in the gas. Run gas line antfreeze thru it and try again.

Dash light and passenger tail light out

Sounds to me like there is a set of wires somewhere that are shorted together. Recheck all of your new sound system connections are correct and that a ground wire didn't get accidentally put together. Good Luck!

2000 Acura 3.5 RL suddenly has no tail lights or tag lights. Brake, reverse and blinker all work. Checked fuses-all appear fine. Decided to replace bulbs and noticed front right marker light out so changed...

The only thing that both the brake lights and tail lights use is a ground connection. Keep in mind the warning light on the dash may be for any exterior lamp. You may need to check the sockets and grounds on all four corners of the car.

Dash Display and Blinkers going out/ HZD Fuse burrning out

sounds like a short somewhere. you need to get a diagram on the wiring system and start from there. good luck...... could also be in fuse box because one fuse dosent run all those things. usually instrument panal lights have own fuse as do brake lights and hazard lights and gauges

How do you replace the driver's side tail light on

You will first have to access the trunk and then access the tailight assembly - possibly by removing the upholstery of the molding (not too difficult). The bulb housing can be removed by rotating approximately 90-degrees counterclockwise and pulling the assembly. Simply pull the bulb straight out and insert the new bulb. Be sure to test it before reassembling the unit. Finally, reverse the steps.
