Could be either a short in the Keyboard or it is not USB adapter compatible, some mice are like this. Plug it into a computer with PS2 port and see if it still malfunctions, if it does then the keyboard has a short, if not, it is incompatible with a USB adapter. Keyboards send two codes whenever a key is pressed, one for the key itself and one to let the computer know it the Shift/Ctrl/Alt keys are being pressed.
Hold the blue "Fn" button while pressing "ScrLk/NumLk".
This will put the keyboard back into typing mode.
BTW - I do not recommend this keyboard for quality longevity. I have had mine for about 2-3 years, and the lights no longer work, which is the only reason I bought it, and the arrow keys have started falling off. I paid $30 for it at a night market - probably paid too much. I will be ordering the next one from DX.com and will not be buying anymore 'zippy' brand products.
I (strongly) believe this is a repackaging of the EZ-8000, KB730, etc keyboard. I have respond this problem with those other models so please just search for my other answers.
blown power supply.... I have the same tv... but with a fault in the main board leaving me with a flashing image. I have a power supply that's good and you have a main board that's probably good.....???
