Universal Remote for p1310atv Disney TV

Bought the tv without a remote, and did not realize at the time that it would do absolutely nothing without it. I saw online where someone said to get a $5 universal remote from Dollar General. So I got the vibe 4 in 1 universal. It supposedly has a "code search" feature that I can't figure out how to work. The directions are confusing and unclear. I cannot find the manual online. Is there some trick that you can use to make any universal remote work? Or has anyone ever used this remote that can tell me in English how to use it? I'm so tired of messing with this tv I'm ready to throw it out!! Thanks in advance for your response.

SOURCE: replace remote for disney princes p1310atv tv?

Look on the back of the TV or in the back of the manual and you'll see the name of the company that manufactured and/or distributed the TV, or you may find a telephone number listed in the manual. You must contact the manufacturer to find a replacement remote for that TV. Universal remotes don't work because that set is actually made by a small company that doesn't communicate with universal remote makers.

SOURCE: Same problem as above.Disney p1310ATV lost the

there may be a problem with the tvs remote sensor. most universal remotes you dont even have to enter any codes you just have to follow the same steps to enter the code but instead of entering a code all you have to do is press the channel up button after following all other steps, just keep pressing up until it turns the channel on the tv then press enter or similar button after it changes the channel and this should lock in the code without entering a specific code. And if all other remotes only half the buttons work on if it happens with every universal remotes then it probably a problem with the remote sensor or the tv . Good luck too ya!!!

I bought a Disney tv with a DVD player that connects..no remote.there is no input button option on TV n channels only go as low as 2.I can not get the TV to pick up their dvd player.model is p1310atv

You should have a remote control to select its inputs. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one.
To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the sites.

Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops. Visit some on-line sites too, which deals with electronic spare parts.

Universa remote codes.

Spoke with Starlight Marketing Ltd today who represent Disney. They said there is no codes for the Disney TV's. They have been trying to find out what the code is but since it is a private brand tv it does not have a code for a different remote. As I stated we bought the Pirates of the Carribean TV/DVD. My husband was fooling around with the remote and punched in 0216 and the remote read the code. The person from Disney said we just got lucky. Said that there were no universal remotes that would work with these TV's. This code was also used by the Haier brand tv. Hope this info helps anyone with a Disney TV. What universal remote works with model number p1300nTV

I too own the Disney Pirates of the Carribean television. We have it setup in my boys' room so they can only watch DVD's, there is no cable connected to it. However, everytime we turn it on, we have to use the remote to change the input to dvd. The large Mickey button on the remote fell out and my daughter lost it. Without that button, you can't change the input at all. Therefore we have a perfectly functioning television that we can't use.

I emailed Disney and they redirected me to the actual manufacturer of the TV, Starlight Griffin. The phone number is 866-387-1902. I called and within 5 minutes, I was told that I would recieve my new remote within 10 days at NO COST TO ME!!

I went crazy for days trying to figure this out so I had to share that info with all of you immidiately! Good Luck!!
