Paper feed will not work

Erratic print feed is usually due to Quality of paper or the cleanliness of the rollers which pull the paper through the machine. You User/instruction manual has advice Paper quality and on how to clean the rollers. Make sure the machine is switched off before you attempt any internal cleaning

there is paper feed sensor inside the printer. make sure it is there and not broken off. the sensor is in the back center of the paper tray, and is spring loaded. if you can't find it, shake the printer with the paper tray facing down to see if a black piece of plastic falls out. the printer will also have this error when the printer cannot pick up the paper. clean the rubber roller with "rubber renew". you can use rubbing alcohol but rubber renew is recommended. the roller is often full of dust and fine paper debris.

reset the printer by unplugging the power cord of the printer while its on and putting it back in after 2 minutes. if this wont solve the problem then try
adjusting the paper settings. and if it still wont work clean the rollers. this would be the last step. if not solve the printer is of no good

It is a problem with printer paper sensor pls clean the printer paper sensor. if problem does not solve then you can checked it from service center.

Try to place the paper properly keeping tray in place. Check for any paper jam.

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.

I had this same problem with my HP 2575 printer. I complained very strongly to HP and they sent me (free of any charges) an HP Paper Cleaning Kit. Took about 20 minutes to clean and rough up a rubber feeding roll in the printer. VOILA-- printer has been feeding perfectly for over a year. A friend of mine with the same printer,had the same problem. He used it and now has no problem. You will have to get after HP and have them send you the Kit. Hope this helps you out. SANS

1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button.
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.
