Security code lg kg290

I was messing with my lg kg290 pressed reset settings then reset all and then when i turned my phone back on its asking for a security code but i dont know what it is. can you help????

If you have not change your security code this means that your security code is still on default so it is '0000'

How to do hard reset lg r500
I am supposing you are using the LG Xenon GR500.
Soft Reset
To perform a soft reset, remove and re-insert the battery.

Master Reset
IMPORTANT: All configuration settings will be set back to their factory defaults. Personal data and downloaded content, however, will not be lost.


  1. From the standby screen, press the menu icon.


  2. Tap the Settings Icon.


  3. Tap the Phone icon.


  4. Scroll to and tap Reset Settings.


  5. Tap Master Reset.


  6. Tap Yes.


  7. Enter the device's security code, then tap OK. The device will reset.
    NOTE: The default security code is 0000.

Master Clear
IMPORTANT: All configuration settings will be set back to their factory defaults. Also, all personal data (including contacts) and downloaded content will be erased.

  1. From the standby screen, press the menu icon.


  2. Tap the Settings Icon.


  3. Tap the Phone icon.


  4. Scroll to and tap Reset Settings.

ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it
Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000
Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile.
send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code.
