How do I remove the green from hot tub water?

Green spa water usually results from one, or a combination of the following;

1. Insufficient sanitiser/algae growth
2. Oxidation of copper
3. Pollen in the water (more of a summer issue)

If you want to avoid emptying the water and starting again, consider the following;

Removing Algae: For an algae problem treat with an appropriate algaecide. Brush the surfaces of the hot tub before adding these chemicals to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment. Also, allow the pump to continue to run in order to circulate the additive.

Removing Oxidised Metals: For an excess copper issue, adding a sequestering or chelating agent will cause metal ions to group together in complexes that are easier to filter out of the water. It is important to clean or replace your filter after using a sequestering agent.

Removing Pollen: Use a flocculent so that the particles group together and the filter can isolate them.

Why does My Samsung VRT front loader leave the soap dispenser full of water at the end of the wash cycle. I have to empty it in order to add detergent for the next wash cycle.

there are 2 components to the soap dispenser, 1 using liquid soap has a little tub that you dispense soap into and 2nd you remove the tub when using powder soap. I assume that you are talking about the little tub is filled with water. How this works is by adding water to the tub the level rises and siphoning empties the little tub. If any water remains it is due to water being added after the little tub has already emptied. That is not a big issue and will happen. Just empty the water or add some water to start the syphon process.

I a leak under my tub, think it's from the shower, it doesn't leak with a full tub of water or ewhen you empty the tub, but when you're in the shower a flow of water comes out under the shower piping side...

Check out the faucet plate mounted on tub side for a good seal. Water can leak down this plate causing it to look like the valve is leaking.
When you are in the shower it splash's water against the valve and water will run down behind it. Check the tub spout and if you have tile check the chaulked joint where tub and wall meet.

Water appears to collect in the tub when the machine is not in us

This is caused by a faulty inlet valve solenoid. It is allowing water to run into the tub. The solenoids can be tested using a multimeter for continuity. A lack of continuity indicates a faulty solenoid and the water inlet valve will need replaced. See the attached photo for reference. Hope this helped and best wishes.

QCA Opal hot tub display reading OH.

The tub experienced an overheat situation. This may be due to leaving the t stat turned all the way up and not monitoring or the hi-limit sensor is defective. The hi-limit sensor will shut down the heating cicuit if temp gets above 105 D optimally.the fact that the heater light is on is a good sign that things are working at this point.Whether or not a suitable temp(100-103 D) will be arrived at is to be seen. If spa heat kicks off before set temp is reached then replace hi-limit sensor.

Tub in washer empties as fast as the water runs into tub

ck height of drain needs to be at least 30-36 inches from floor also be sure drain hose is only 6-8 inches into standpipe be sure there is a small air gap between drain hose and standpipe.. hose needs to fit loosely into standpipe or siphoning may occur

No Ice on GE Side by SIde -TFX25JRYF-WW

Usually there is a big metal frame-switch that controls the flow of water. It is located right above the ice tub. If your ice tub is full the ice cubes push this metal switch up so as to stop water supply. If you remove the ice tub out, chances are that you have accidentally pushed the metal switch all the way up until it clicks and stays there. In this position, the ice mold water flow is permanently stopped.

Insert the tub again in its position slowly. Before fully inserting it, pull the metal switch down inside the empty tub. With the switch down, insert the ice tub back into position.

If that does not apply for your refridgerator, look for a similar water flow switch to turn back on the water flow.

Hope this helps
