My acer x233w monitor has gone yellow! What is the problem?

most of such cases are not due to problem in monitors... they are problems caused by mother board's or the externally attached graphics/video cards... So in order to make sure which causes problem.. you can try to connect another monitor to your system.. or perhaps your monitor to another system...

If the monitor is faulty colored everywhere.. then the monitor has to be given for repair.. (you cant do it by yourself)
if the other way... any monitor connected to your sys is faultly solored.. then you have to change your video card attached to mother board...

I need to get a foot stand for my acer x233w 22" monitor. the acer company is useless. i have googled this and located nothing at all, anywhere. can you tell me where i might buy a stand? please help...
I have the same monitor (i really like it a lot), same problem: Monitor does not sit up high enough, and i needed it much higher.

I'm thinking the middle of the screen should be just about eye level.

I tried this and that but had to settle for about 20 or so large books 'n' magazines underneath my monitor, it doesn' look sexy but it certainly does the trick.

Moved monitor and when I recionected monitor I have a green tint. How do I adjust the color back?
Please check all the pins on both ends of the VGA connector, more likely to have bent pins or not seated properly.

Acer AL1716 monitor
First of all check your monitor's color configurations using the buttons in the monitor. Then, if colors are set to default, go to your GPU's control panel, usually found by right clicking your desktop and finding an option that says ie. Nvidia control panel. Go to video control settings and/or desktop color settings and either restore defaults or configure them yourself if you know what you are doing. Hope that helps.
