Nitro Program stopped working

Hi. Scan gear is just an interface to use the copiers as a scanner. You need and adittional program to scan (for example : acrobat Profesional allow you to create pdf files form scanner, also can use nitro pro. Or any program to scan. I prefer PRESTO PAGE MANAGER. . When scanning you select source : color network scan gear

Set up your printer to save ink and paper (ECO MODE)

Print to PDF rather than paper
Step 1. A PDF is an exact electronic version of a document that's viewable on almost any device. A PDF protects the original document from editing by the reader, making the format ideal for marketing materials and digital magazines. Download and install the free version of Nitro PDF Reader.
Step 2. Nitro PDF Reader installs a printer driver that lets you export a document to PDF from any application's Print menu. To create a PDF version of your document, simply choose File, Print and select Nitro PDF Creator (Reader) from the list of available printers. Press Print and enter a name for your PDF.
Step 3. For greater speed and convenience, Nitro PDF Reader offers simplified, one-step conversion. Drag your chosen document from Windows Explorer on to the Nitro PDF Reader desktop icon. The conversion will begin at once, with the resulting PDF saved to your desktop.

I had this same irritating issue - after uninstalling and re-installing several times I decided to check the folders to see if there was any remaining Brother folders or files hanging around. First I went to the Windows Twain32 folder and removed the remaining folder in there - then I went to Programs files (both of them in Windows 7) and moved all Brother Folders AND Control Center folders to a created folder on the desktop (just in case) - reinstalled the software and it worked! Hope this helps someone because I tried all the other fixes and they did not work for me.

If your only intention is to open .pdf files and not Adobe Reader X problem, then there is a easy solution to open the .pdf files. You can use Foxit Reader or Nitro PDF Viewer as a PDF decoding software, These can give you the same results ( in some cases, more than you want!!!) with respect to Adobe Reader X. Amongst these PDF viewer, I recommend you to use Foxit Reader, as this is very much lightweight with respect to Adobe Reader (About 14 times smaller) and handy.

And if you still want to use Adobe Reader X, then you should uninstall it and try re-installing it again, because it may be the problem of file corruption or improper installation of Adobe Reader.

when you send a job to your printer from the internet it is basically the same as downloading the program first before it can be spooled. this is causing a time out problem with your printer.

Sometimes the file name assigned to a pdf is not compatible with our printer's memory. For example, if the file name includes brackets [ ] or other punctuation, or is very long, the printer won't recognize it. One print job that stalls will hold up the entire print queue, so delete your job from the queue.
First, look at the file name displayed in the print server's list of print jobs. The same file name also appears in the top blue bar of your Acrobat pdf display. Are there brackets, per cent signs, or other punctuation marks in the file name?

Could you save your reports previously to send seperately? If so what format did you save your reports in? Are you receiveing any error message when you try to save your reports? If so what is it?

A quick work around is if you install a free pdf programme - Cutepdf comes to mind, you can then set to print your reports in cutepdf, save as a pdf file and email them... If you need to do this, I can talk you through it in more detail.

At the top left of the page the are links to the PDF Creator and the Required GPL Ghostscript 8. The program will not function without it. Both programs work with x64 Vista. Read the website for the other benifits or the program.

theres option in nitro pdf to restore your old files.

1st Way is If the file is 2003, firstly open the file that you want to convert, and then File, Print and Choose the PDF printer is OK.

2nd Way is save as the 2003 file to 2007 file format and then you can convert to pdf in just clicking right click in explorer and choose convert to pdf.
