Trying to change number of rings before voicemail

My office has the Avaya 5410 phone, and I'm trying to figure out how to change the number of rings before the voicemail comes on. Right now it rings about 12 times and we really need to reduce that. Can anyone help??

Which system is this on? If IP Office, you need to find the computer that has manager on it. All the changes are in there.

By default individual coverage is set to 45 seconds. Ask your phone vendor to reduce it.

Would like to reduce the number of rings before going to voicemail on our AVAYA phone.

You will need to go into Manager, and adjust teh voicemail timer. By default it is at 15 seconds. Figure 3.5 seconds/ring when figuring out how long you want it to ring before going to vmail.

I need to reset my avaya 5410 voicemail password and I do not know the current password. please assist

You will need to log into Mnager (the IP Office management application). Go to the users section, and click on the Voicemail tab. delete the stars. Then save the config.

When you log in the first time, there isnt a password, so just hit #.

Change main number voicemail

There is no default way to do this. The technician that set the system up will need to tell you the code to get in aand modify that wav file. There is no way to do so by default, it has to be set up, and can be anytihng.

Look at your config, for a short code that goes to a "vociemail collect" with the name recordings.....that is the code you use to modify.
