Neeeds a new main board. samsung builds stuff cheap but they have alot of features. it is either a bad board or a blown fuse. you might as well get a new board it is about the same money

You cannot convert the DV into you PC as the formats are different.
You will need the data in the DV which outputs to be compressed and written. Please find these links to be useful :

You can download the videos from the Cam to Computer by connecting the Cam with your PC via DV Connection or USB Connection. The procedure is simple, I'm attaching a link of Samsung's FAQ section below. You will find different steps to connect the device to your Computer, accordingly.

SOUNDS LIKE THE MAIN BOARD IS GOING BAD. SAMSUNG BUILDS STUFF CHEAP AND HAS ALOT OF FEATURES. A MAIN BOARD USUALLY COST 50 BUCKS. YOU CAN LOOK AROUND. [email protected]
Hi, Check if it has the firewire port. If so, you can get a 4 pin firewire cable and connect to the PC. Switch on the Cam. Open Windows Movie Maker and import video from device.

You can use the Movie maker to burn it to the Disk
with no power at all ? this is a main board problem. seems like a fuse blew inside. which is a small as a pen tip.. needs soldered too . sorry about this.. i can fix [email protected]
