SOURCE: Replacement Battery

I found a 18V Powerglide battery at AceHardware.com and they say that it will fit ANY 18V Powerglide tool. Their part number is 2103992 and list price is 23.99. However I would strongly recommend that you look at the battery online to make sure it will match up. This is allthe information I can find. Good Luck

Hello Karen, i'm sorry you are having the problems that you are having with your combo tool kit. I just bought the same kit from a person for $20, but it was lacking the charger. If you ever decide to get rid of the kit, let me know, I would love to buy the charger from you. You can reach me at 309-713-5939. Thank you and have an absolutely wonderful day.

Do I have to charge battery after each use or let the battery go dead before charging

It is best not to recharge a battery with minimal use. The time to recharge is when you notice a lack of power or performance. The only time that is recommended to "TOP OFF" a battery is when you are going to put it to hard use. Let me know if you need more assistance.

How long do i charge my 18v battery for

Well if flat, it would have to charge up for at least 6 Hours. For just a "Top Up" probably 1 Hour would be OK.

Getting a small drill bit in straight and tight

I would replace the chuck or purchase a 1/16" quick change drill bit.

Charger not charging

Just was on a website for Ryobi drills and it states that if the yellow and green light stay on for more than 15 minutes the battery is fried. Couldn't find the link but if you do a search for Ryobi Drill 18 volt you should find the same info. It was as product review from Australia I think.

I also have a problem with the charging of Ryobi batterys. They seem to charge AOK with the green light coming on but the charge does not last at all. Not sure if the problem is with the batteries on the charger.
